WW1 Literacy Starter:
In your books, turn these sentences in complex sentence:

Objectives:
1) DIRT: Identify your personalized writing
target/s.
2) Discuss what it would have been like to live
through the Blitz.
3) Create a piece of descriptive writing based on
the WW1 image, making sure you work on hitting your personal target.
Starter:
As
a class, watch the WW1 video showing London during the Blitz. In
pairs, discuss how you would have felt if you were living there. You could think about:
- What would it have been like to live in London during the
war?
- Discuss how you
would have felt if you were dropping the bombs.
- Discuss
how you would have felt if you had relatives in London.
